Grand Petition against illegal presence of EOs in TN temples
Shri T.R. Ramesh has filed a petition before the Madras HC, challenging the illegal presence of Executive Officers and other government appointed officers in Tamil Nadu temples in violation of the law and the various Supreme Court judgments. The petition argues that these government appointed EOs have been and may continue to exercise illegally in perpetuity which is arbitrary and violative of rights under Article 14, 21, 25 and 26 of the Constitution.
